At Matchborough First School Academy we believe that children are all individuals and therefore, we aim to encourage mutual respect, responsibility and foster self-esteem in a happy and caring atmosphere. The teaching and learning of PSHE supports and upholds this vision.

The PSHE programme is split into three core themes.

Health and wellbeing

Relationships

Living in the wider world

It is here that your child will learn about bullying, citizenship, drug education, healthy eating, physical activity, mental and emotional health, wellbeing, and sex and relationships.

We offer lots of different learning opportunities including assemblies, circle time, debates, role play, stories, puppets, art work, school visitors, specific programmes, school council, enterprise and lots more! The learning and values covered in  PSHE  link to all areas of the curriculum.

Should you wish to have a more in depth knowledge of the areas covered please follow the link below.
