Today you are going to plan your non-chronological report. Use the plan to help you or you can draw it on a piece of paper. Remember this is only a plan so you don't need to write everything in full sentences. You can just bullet point what you are going to include. Think of some catchy sub-headings, for example 'Amazing Animals' and a fronted adverbial to start each section.
This week you are going to be carrying on with last weeks PSHE lesson.
You should have started designing and creating your own garden for people with a particular need to enjoy! Go through the PowerPoint to remind yourselves of last weeks lesson and then continue your ideas map if you haven't finished it already.
Remember to always keep the people you are designing your garden for in mind when you are planning and designing it.
This week we have attached a price list for some of the furniture and plants you may want for your garden. Can you come up with a rough cost of your garden? Think about what could you do to raise that money?
A group of meerkats lovingly tend to a beloved and unique fruit in the middle of the savannah.
One day, their peaceful existence is disrupted by a vulture intent on stealing their pride and joy.
Will the meerkats be able to get it back?
Your task is to retell the story from the meerkats point of view.
Can you have a go at creating some dialogue between the meerkats at various points throughout the story, remember the rule 'new speaker, new line' and to use inverted commas to identify speech.
Today we will be looking at tables and using information from them to answer some questions.
