MATHS

Please remember, your child should be spending 1 hour on Maths a day. Half an hour of this lesson is delivered on zoom and the second half an hour is available in Teach it, Twist it and Deepen it activities. Please do not access these activities until after the Zoom session. Thank you.

WALT find the differnce

Today we will be using subtraction to help us find the difference. When finding the differnce, you have to work out how many each person has and take the smallest amount away from the largest. The answer will be the difference. See the picture below.

Eva has 12 counters and Alex has 7. To find the differnce we work out 12 - 7 as above.

WALT use and

Today we will be learning to use 'and' in our writing.

For example ...

At the zoo I saw a lion and a penguin.

I have a pet dog and he likes to play fetch.

Can you complete the sentences on the activity sheet below?

FOUNDATION SUBJECTS

Each subject should take you an hour to complete.
