Read the word. Remember tricky words cannot be sounded out like most of the words we read in phonics.
When you are confident you can read the word,
Look at it, say it, cover it, write it, check it
If you spell it correctly 3 times in a row, write a sentences with the word 'so' in.

WALT find the differnce
Today we will be using subtraction to help us find the difference. When finding the differnce, you have to work out how many each person has and take the smallest amount away from the largest. The answer will be the difference. See the picture below.
Eva has 12 counters and Alex has 7. To find the differnce we work out 12 - 7 as above.
You should be spending half an hour a day on your phonics activities.

It is a conjunction and is used to join two words, phrases or clauses together to make one longer sentence.
