WALT: Sequence events
Todays lesson is focusing on sequencing the main events so far in the story of 'The Penguin Who Wanted To Find Out'
Task 1 is to sequence the pictures and if you cant print them you could draw them in the correct order.
Task 2 Once you have ordered the pictures write a sentence next to each picture explaining what is happening in the picture.
Task 3 Then add in time adverbials , feelings and adjectives.
Time adverbials are sentence openers that reflect time:
Next After Then The other morning Yesterday
Inquisitive terrified down-hearted joyful
Adjectives are describing words often in front of a noun
WALT: Make equal groups by sharing
Today we will begin to look at division and its is important that all groups are EQUAL! When we are dividing, we often using sharing circles.
In this example, we will share the sweets between 2 people, so there will be 2 sharing circles.
Here are the sharing circles, so 8 sweets shared into 2 equal groups is 4.
Today, you will practise sharing into equal groups. You can do this by drawing circles and little crosses inside to represent the amount or you can share counters or other object like lego if you have them.

Today you will be listening to some of her songs and thinking about what you like or don't like.
Some of the most famous songs she has sung are 'Somewhere over the rainbow' and 'Fields of gold'. Listen to them and see what you think. Then fill in the activity sheet.
