WALT - Perform and edit a playscript
Your first task is to read through and perform your playscript that you wrote yesterday. Is there anything missing? How could you improve it? You now need to use a blue pen or pencil (blue for better) and edit your work. You might need to add more stage directions so you know how to speak or act like the character. Have you included a scene description? If not, you could also include this. Take a look at the example below:
Now take a look at the edited version. Can you see how it has been edited to improve it?
Once complete, read through your playscript again. Is it better? Can you perform it with your family?
WALT multiply 2-digit and 1-digit numbers
Zoom lesson 1
Today we are going to be applying our multiplication recall to solve calculations which involve multiplying 2 digit factor by a single digit factor. Unlike yesterday we will need to use exchange today on these problems.
3 X 16 = 48
For this problem you could use a Part Part Whole model and partition like you did yesterday, however a more efficient method is to use Column multiplication.
YOU MUST REMEMBER THAT THE DIGITS MUST GO IN THE CORRECT COLUMN AND REMEMBER TO SHOW YOUR EXCHANGE.
WALT understand The Golden Rule.
Look at the PowerPoint presentation to learn about the Golden Rule for RE this week.
Answer the questions on the PowerPoint as you go through it. There are questions throughout.
Remember to email your work to our Year 4 email address.
Watch the video 'The Present' by clicking the image below. Answer the questions in full sentences. Feel free to re-watch the video if that makes it easier!
Remember to discuss your answers with an adult.
