Read the word. Remember tricky words cannot be sounded out like most of the words we read in phonics.
When you are confident you can read the word,
Look at it, say it, cover it, write it, check it
If you spell it correctly 3 times in a row, write a sentence with the word 'oh' in.

WALT understand 10s and 1s within 50
Today we are going to be using tens and ones to count numbers within 50.
We need to remember that 10 ones are equal to 1 ten.

WALT use questions marks
Today we will be learning about using question marks.
If you have to respond or give an answer to the sentence then it is a question.
For example ...
Is it cold outside?
This person is asking if it is cold and they would like an answer. This is a question.
It is cold outside.
This person doesn't need an answer and is telling you about the weather. This is a simple sentence.
Your task is to read the sentences and decide if they need a full stop or a question mark.

Your picture can be of anything that you want it to be, get creative!!

When you have sent us your pictures, use this afternoon to catch up on any other Purple Mash activites that you have left to do.
