Remember, a pseudo word is not real. They are made up words that do not make sense.
We sometimes call them alien words.Try reading these alien words below.
You will recognise lots of the sounds but the words just won't make sense.
Play the buried treasure game on Phonics Play below to practice sorting the words.
Then try and make your own version using the coins below. Start with Phase 3 and if you are feeling confident, try phase 4 and even phase 5!
Each subject should take you an hour to complete.
Computing WALA devices that use the internet
Last half term we looked at the World Wide Web and how it is used. We are going to continue this learning by looking at the internet in more detail. We will also be finding out if the devices that we use everyday use the internet or not.
The webpage below has all of the information that you will need.
Read through it with an adult and watch the video.
You can also follow these links at the bottom of the webpage if you want to find out more.
Your task is to sort the devices and objects into things that use the internet and things that do not.
As your final activity today, we would like you to spend some time catching up on any purple mash activities that you have left to do or, if you are up to date, explore purple mash a bit more and try some new games or challenges.
There are lots of fun things on there for you to try
When you have finished, you can also have a go at some phonics games on phonics play, access some books on bug club or have a look at the storytime magazine on the year 1 main page.
