Read the word. Remember tricky words cannot be sounded out like most of the words we read in phonics.
When you are confident you can read the word,
Look at it, say it, cover it, write it, check it
If you spell it correctly 3 times in a row, write a sentences with the word 'little' in.

You should be spending half an hour a day on your phonics activities.
The Phase 3 grapheme we are revising, the Phase 5 grapheme is a new sound for you to try
Today we will be revisiting the 'air' trigraph.
Look at the poster to see where the 'air' grapheme is found in words.
Find the meaning of any words you are not sure on.
Choose 5 of these words to write a sentence for each.
Can you use more than one 'air' word in one sentence?
This trigraph is 'are' said like 'air'
We usually find this grapheme at the end of words.
Watch and read along with the clip below. They do go quite quickly so you might want to mute the sound and pause the video to segment and blend the words at your own pace.
