WALT count in 10s
This week we will be learning to count in 10s. This is a great skill to have and will make counting large numbers much quicker and easier.
Today your task is to fill in the missing numbers on the number tracks, we want you to get confident with counting in 10s. Use the game below to practice counting in 10s or you could even try counting in 10s as you move around your home.
You should be spending half an hour a day on your phonics activities.
Please don't go any further than the sound that we are learning but feel free to go back to any previous sounds or books.

SPaG WALA verbs
Today we are going to be learning what a verb is and when they are use.
A verb is an action word, also known as a doing word.
Follow the link below to watch a video all about verbs. There are also some quizzes to have a go at when the video has finished.
Your task today is to highlight the verbs in the sentences and add in verbs where they are missing. As a challenge, we would like you to try and write your own sentence using a verb.
Each subject should take you an hour to complete.

Europe is the continent that we live in and it has lots of other countries in it as well.
Have a look at the blue section on the map. This is Europe.
Open the map below to look at Europe in more detail. All of the countries in Europe have been labelled on this map. Have you ever visited any of these countries before?
Today, we would like you to research a country outside of Europe. Take a look at the other continents on the map and choose one of the countries.
Use the internet and any books you may have to research a non-European country of your choice.
You might want to find out how they say hello, what language they speak, what animals live there, what the weather is like, what people wear, what the schools are like, what their homes look like, if their technology is the same as ours.
Use words and pictures to complete the activity page.
