Read the word. Remember tricky words cannot be sounded out like most of the words we read in phonics.
When you are confident you can read the word,
Look at it, say it, cover it, write it, check it
If you spell it correctly 3 times in a row, write a sentences with the word 'people' in.

Today we will be learning about one more and one less with numbers up to 50.
When finding one more, the number gets bigger. We add one to the number.
When finding one less, the numbers gets smaller. We take one away from the number.

A caption is one or two sentences written about what is happening in a picture.
A caption must have a capital letter and full stop for each sentence.
