For Children's Mental Health
Our new tricky word is:
Read the word. Remember tricky words cannot be sounded out like most of the words we read in phonics.
When you are confident you can read the word,
Look at it, say it, cover it, write it, check it
If you spell it correctly 3 times in a row, write a sentences with the word 'called' in.
Please remember, your child should be spending 1 hour on Maths a day. Half an hour of this lesson is delivered on zoom and the second half an hour is available in Teach it, Twist it and Deepen it activities. Please do not access these activities until after the Zoom session. Thank you.

Each subject should take you an hour to complete.
Science WALT recognise that some of the food we eat comes from plants
Work through the PowerPoint together and then complete the cut and stick activity.
Don't worry if you don't have access to a printer, take notes of which column each item belongs to.
Take a look at the image below.
Here, lots of activities and ideas have been chosen and written down by each family member.
Whichever item is chosen, everyone has to do.
Don't worry if you don't have lolly sticks, you could always write them on strips of paper and fold them up.
Why not include things like:
- a home cinema night
- build an obstacle course
- play musical statues
- play a board game
- create a piece of messy art as a family
- go on an outdoor adventure
Below are some Mindfulness Cards if you wanted to have a go at these as well.
