Our Reception children would like to invite their Mums, Nans, Aunties or other female relatives for a mother's day high tea treat.
Year 2 Tea and Toast -Tuesday 19 March 2019
Parents are invited to join their children in some brain boosting breakfast on Tuesday 19 March. Please complete the reply slips sent home with your child if you would like to attend. Breakfast includes cereals, sausage/bacon baps, toast as well as tea and coffee.
As part of our ‘Book Week’ celebrations, parents were invited in to share a ‘magic moment’ at school with their child.
The aim of the session was to promote the joy of reading to our children. Some brave parents even came dressed in their pyjamas.
The children shared hot chocolates with their parents whilst snuggling up together reading their favourite stories.
Reception Reading Bug Snuggle - 6 March 2019
On Thursday 28 February 2019 a group of 25 Year 2 children had the opportunity to work alongside their Dads, Grandads and Uncles to design and create a free standing robot using a variety of recycled materials. This event takes place every year and something that the children and grown up’s look forward to. One Dad stated that he had waited 3 years for this event!!
There were some fantastic creations, some with moving parts and flashing lights.
We now have an amazing robot display to greet visitors in our entrance hall.
Parents were invited in to their child's classroom at the end of the day to share the 'Bucket filling' story. This is part of our newly launched kindness initiative.
Today children could join their parents for a bit of rest and relaxation. The aim of this session was to help parents with stratergies to use at home to improve their own and their children mental and emotional health. We had an impressive 35 Parents attend!
