A warm welcome to all parents and children to Key Stage 2.
I look forward to working with you and your children throughout the year. Please do not hesitate to ask any questions. This page will be updated with topics, photos and work that the children complete throughout the year.
Thank you for your continuous support
Friday 23rd November
Today staff and children at Matchborough came to school in odd socks to raise awareness for Anti-Bullying Week.
Children in Need
Friday 16th November
Today we made Pudsey sparkle. The children came to school with spotty accessories and brought change to fill Pudsey's face.
9th November 2018
The children came dressed in uniforms to raise money for Help for Heroes and the Poppy Appeal.
We learnt about the first and second World Wars and what it would have been like to live in the trenches as well as what it might have been like to be an evacuee.
We were shocked to learn about rations and could not imagine what it must have been like.
Please make sure all kit is clearly named and in school for these sessions.
In 3C, children are awarded 1 Dojo point for bringing their diary to school. They are awarded an additional Dojo for having an entry written in their diary.
Each entry awards your child 1 merit. Each half term, please aim for at least 15 merits!
If your child attends a club outside of school, this counts as homework! Please make sure you note down all out of school activities, additional learning and home reading for bonus merits and Dojos!
